Do not present the parts of your body to sin as instruments of wickedness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and present the parts of your body to Him as instruments of righteousness. Romans 6:13
Surrendering to God is more than saying that we belong to Him. It involves choosing to place our lives under His direction.
Romans 6:13 instructs believers to offer themselves to God rather than allowing their bodies to become instruments of unrighteousness.
Every day, we make decisions about how we use our time, our words, our abilities, and our influence.
We can use those things to serve selfish purposes, or we can offer them to God as instruments of righteousness.
Surrender is not a one-time statement. It is a daily decision to allow God to direct how we live.
