Pursue Peace | Romans 14:19
Theme: Building Up One Another
“So then, let us pursue what leads to peace and to mutual edification.” — Romans 14:19, BSB
Peace does not always happen automatically. Sometimes it requires intentional choices.
In Romans 14, Paul addresses disagreements among believers over matters of personal conviction. He teaches that our relationships should be guided by love and consideration for one another.
Not every disagreement needs to become an argument.
We can remain faithful to our convictions while speaking respectfully and seeking what strengthens others.
Today: Before responding to a disagreement, ask yourself whether your words will promote peace and encourage spiritual growth.
