“If you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.”
Holding onto an offense can become a burden we carry long after the moment has passed. Jesus repeatedly taught His followers about forgiveness because He knew how easily hurt can take root in the heart.
Forgiveness may be a process, but we can begin by becoming willing to place the hurt in God’s hands.
